For FY27, Koeck presented a $285,940 request, with personnel costs of $205,940 offset by $67,729 in Formula Grant funding. Facility costs were listed at about $79,000, including $22,000 for building and grounds repair. Koeck framed the narrative around service to seniors, saying it’s her responsibility to take care of the building, “but more importantly, it’s about taking care of the people inside it.”
Board members discussed the requested 5.9% increase — $15,966 from FY26 projected to FY27 requested — and questioned whether line-item terminology should use "Armory Building" rather than "Senior Center Building" in budget requests.
