Commissioners make four appointments, approve small purchases and legal retainer
Summary

At the meeting commissioners approved several routine but important actions. For smaller budget items, commissioners approved rental lighting for the Fourth of July parking area not to exceed $2,000 from the FY26 parks budget and approved purchase and installation of a 14-inch WAPRO gate valve for shoreline protection at Bonfield and Richardson Inlet Cove, not to exceed $15,000, with public works to install. Commissioners also authorized the commission president to enter into a retainer agreement with outside counsel to cover potential future conflicts or ethics issues.
