The Selectboard approved a request from Cindy Ross to close Pine Street for the afternoon of August 29 for a neighborhood block party. The board authorized the temporary road closure on a motion by Shauna Prime, seconded by Andrew Lee, with the condition that activities not be set up in the street and that the street be reserved for pedestrian traffic only; the Highway Department will loan road-closure signage.
Minutes record that Ms. Ross obtained grant funding for the event. The authorization is conditional and intended to preserve safety and emergency access while enabling the neighborhood event. (Provenance: SEG 014)
