At the opening of the Sept. 9 meeting residents asked about code enforcement on the Hectus property and about town budget transparency. Supervisor Bronner said property owners had been issued a summons and were scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 23, 2025; the board did not have an outcome to report. On budgeting, Bronner said a preliminary tentative budget had been provided for board review and reminded residents that the tentative budget does not have to be filed until October 2025. A resident requested that monthly reports showing account balances be posted to the town website; Bronner agreed that could be done.
The board did not take formal action on either matter during the meeting but recorded the public request and the status updates provided by the Supervisor.
