Douglas County's Transportation & Infrastructure Committee voted Aug. 5 to approve a Functional Classification Resolution and associated map that the Wisconsin Department of Transportation suggested local committees adopt to clarify where the county can apply for certain programs and funding. Committee member Mark Cummings moved to approve the resolution; Randy Skowlund seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Committee members recorded that there would be no changes to the current map. The adopted referral will forward the resolution to the County Board for final action; no amendments or map changes were recorded in committee minutes.
