Eldridge Park design nears completion; SL 4B funding requests to follow

Parks staff said the Eldridge Park improvements project is in design, with plans addressing persistent ponding in the parking lot, playground walls and field irrigation. "Eldridge Park was built in, 1999," staff said to explain the need for renewal, noting the design is around 90% complete and will be submitted to the SL 4B funding board for construction funding.
Staff also reviewed three proposed SL 4B projects the department is advancing: a Mesquite Park playground design, a redo of Sugar Mill Park playground and replacement of field lighting fixtures (with most existing poles retained unless age requires replacement). Staff said leagues and user groups will be notified in advance of any changes to field lighting or scheduling and that projects will be adopted as part of the SL 4B budget process.
