HR presents PTO payout survey and a simplified employee evaluation form

Human Resource Director Jenni Lueneburg presented two personnel items to the Committee: a summary of a PTO payout survey completed with 34 county responses and a revised employee performance evaluation form.
Lueneburg said the PTO payout information (34 counties responded) will be discussed at future meetings as the Committee considers whether to change local payout policy. She also explained the new evaluation form has been simplified from a 24‑page document to roughly six pages and that the previous detailed scoring system was removed; the new form indicates whether an employee is eligible for a step increase rather than using numeric scores.
Both items were informational at the July 29 meeting and will return for additional review and possible policy decisions.
