Stockbridge Valley board approves slate of district officers, auditors and bonding limits for 2025–26

At its July 8 reorganizational meeting the Stockbridge Valley Central School District Board of Education approved a series of administrative appointments and financial authorizations for the 2025–26 school year.
On motions by Kristin Guinto and seconded by Jaime Renner the board appointed Pamela Dymes as District Clerk; Kelly Johnson as Treasurer; Michelle Hillenbrand as Tax Collector and Central Treasurer; Diane Mordus as Internal Claims Auditor; and Nicole LaFave as Deputy Internal Claims Auditor. The board also appointed Ferrara Fiorenza PC as special counsel for school district matters and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as bonding attorneys for future borrowing related to buses and other capital needs. Cwynar & Company, LLP was appointed as independent auditors for federal funds and extra-classroom activity funds.
The board authorized Public Employee’s Blanket Honest Bonds as defined in Section 2130 of the Education Law with stated coverage limits: Treasurer $1,000,000; Tax Collector/Central Treasurer $1,000,000; Internal Claims Auditor $1,000,000; Business Administrator $500,000; Bank Courier $500,000. All motions carried with recorded votes of six ayes and zero nays.
