Board hears preliminary 2027 budget; $1,000 medical supply request and possible FTE cut discussed

Elle said the finance committee has discussed consolidation and potential personnel changes and that personnel currently make up about 80% of city budgets, which makes FTE reductions consequential. She said staff are preparing documentation on statutory requirements and minimum staffing needed to meet legal obligations.
