"Losing a full time FTE, it would be very difficult for us to maintain outreach and service that we currently have," one board member said.
Elle said recruitment was underway but that any permanent hires may be constrained by the 2027 budget process and potential discussions at the finance committee about consolidation or cuts. The board asked staff to keep the group informed and planned to revisit staffing in October.
