The village's City Administrator reported at the March 26 meeting that the Village of Briarcliff is installing a 12-inch main line and that surveyors have been out to set the project up. The administrator said, "we are installing a 12-inch main line" and that additional fire hydrants will be placed once the new main line is in place.
Council members were also told staff has "met with Engineers for generators." The minutes do not record timelines, costs or funding sources for the water-main work or generator projects; staff follow-up was noted as the implementation path to complete engineering and installation steps.
