The Village of Briarcliff Village Council on Oct. 30, 2024, voted to accept and waive the reading of minutes from its Sept. 11 public hearing and its Sept. 11 regular monthly meeting. Mayor Hostetler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; Alderman Johnston moved to accept and waive the reading of the Sept. 11 public hearing minutes, seconded by Alderman Aldrich. The minutes were accepted with the notation "All in favor, Motion passed."
In a separate motion, Alderman Charlesworth moved, seconded by Alderman Johnston, to accept and waive the reading of the Sept. 11 regular meeting minutes; the council again recorded "All in favor, Motion passed." The decisions close those agenda items for record-keeping and preserve the official minute entries for the village clerk.
