Waldwick Council recognizes lifeguards after two rescues at borough pool

The mayor thanked pool manager Bridal Doyle, assistant pool manager Sarah Weinstein and several lifeguards who assisted, naming Riley Salerno, Barbara Winkler, Chris Quinn, Andrew Kreiser, Alex Winkler and others. "Their teamwork and professionalism helped ensure the incident was handled safely and efficiently," the mayor said. The council noted both guards are students (one a recent high-school graduate headed to Nova Southeastern University) and praised borough lifeguard training and vigilance. The recognition was presented with public gratitude and no objections reported.
