Council adopts multiple resolutions and approves consent agenda items

The council approved Resolution 39-2024 recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month on a motion by Kim Dixon, seconded by Nina Morse; the roll call shows unanimous ayes. The consent agenda including meeting minutes (Aug. 21) and invoices to Andersen Asphalt ($217,077.27) and Reading Truck ($59,996.53) was approved on a motion by Carrie Call and seconded by Ryan Swapp.
The council also adopted Resolution 36-2024 declaring a roping chute and a 2023 Silverado truck surplus to allow auction or sale (motion by Ryan Saunders, seconded by Carrie Call); approved an easement agreement with Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District via Resolution 37-2024; and adopted Resolution 35-2024 amending the moderate income housing element of the general plan (motion carried with one nay by Councilmember Ryan Swapp).
