Council debates PRUD and cluster-subdivision language for open space and driveways

The mayor noted a needed correction to the cluster subdivision ordinance requiring all driveways to be from the front property line at 25 feet. Councilmember Saunders suggested adding Council approval alongside Parks and Recreation for certain approvals; others disagreed on whether to include or remove a "power corridor" reference. Councilmembers expressed differing views — Councilmember Call worried the ordinance read like only open-space concept review was required, while others weighed trade-offs.
Staff asked for direction and will return with revised language based on council feedback.
