Council approves 5th amendment to Green Farm development agreement; pond, road due next May

The council adopted Ordinance 29-2024 approving the 5th amendment to the Green Farm Master Development Agreement; staff said the pond and road are scheduled for completion next May and Nilson Homes will be reimbursed per the agreement.
On Aug. 21 the West Haven City Council voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance 29-2024, the fifth amendment to the Green Farm Master Development Agreement.
Amy Hugie reviewed the changes to the agreement and answered council questions about timing. She confirmed that the pond and associated road improvements are scheduled to be completed next May.
Councilmember Ryan Saunders moved to adopt the ordinance; Nina Morse seconded and the motion passed with all five councilmembers voting in favor.
Councilmembers also asked procedural questions about contractor reimbursements; Amy Hugie confirmed that Nilson Homes pays subcontractors and the city reimburses per contract terms.
