Oconto County approved amendatory ordinance A2026-07-02 to rezone Tax Parcel #024-01072434 in the Town of Little Suamico from Agricultural to Park and Recreation District. The petition (RZ-20260025) requested 13.56 acres be rezoned to permit tourism-based businesses such as resort-style accommodations, a photography studio and a horse stable.
The Land & Water Resources Committee held a public hearing on July 13 and recommended approval after reviewing the application and testimony. The ordinance cites the parcel’s location along Lower Road and notes the town recommended approval consistent with its comprehensive plan; the board adopted the change by unanimous electronic vote.
