Interest on investments for the month was $60,187.46, and the total processed last month was $1,377,737.39. The presenter also said tax certificates redeemed totaled $8,174 and prepaid taxes were $4,962.38.
On property taxes, the presenter said legislative changes were implemented and the office had uploaded notices; residents can pay at iowatreasures.org, by check or in person and should call the office with questions while staff finish verifying receipts and proofs with the printer.
