Board member Sarah Reith had asked that the proposed mandatory recording language be softened; the minutes record that the wording was changed to “The Recording Secretary may make an audio recording” to replace the draft phrase “The Recording Secretary shall make an audio recording.”
Board members framed the change as a clarification of practice rather than a substantive policy shift. The meeting minutes show the motion passed "without objection," and no formal roll-call tally was recorded in the minutes. The updated notice policy will be included with the board's posted minutes going forward, per the board action.
