"What I'd like to suggest, if everybody's okay with it, is calling a special meeting sometime, towards the end of this month where the whole focus is just working on and trying to get through all the comments," the chair said, referencing online and in‑person comments collected after the June 15 public meeting.
Commissioners agreed that an in‑person table setting would be more conducive to the discussion and asked staff to poll members for a day that meets statutory special-meeting requirements (including whether recording or televising is necessary). The chair emphasized the goal of producing a revised draft and continuing the project at a reasonable pace. Staff will coordinate notices and logistics and report back to the commission.
