Board approves second-reading policy revisions on safety, cybersecurity, health and devices

At second reading the board approved revisions to several district policies under By-Law 1410. Superintendent Michael V. Ginestre presented the policies as part of the January 22 and Feb. 10 presentations required under By-Law 1410. The board also accepted first readings of Policy 3311 (Notification of Disclosure of Employee Disciplinary Records) and Policy 5850 (Data Networks and Security Access) for future consideration.
Why it matters: The approved policy changes touch on student safety, technology security and health protocols; adoption at second reading moves them into the operational rule set the district will apply going forward.
