The Village of South Jacksonville Board voted unanimously Dec. 4 to approve payables for November totaling $121,934.11. Trustee Paula Belobrajdic-Stewart moved to approve the payables and Trustee Christina Butler seconded; a roll call vote approved the payment list.
Treasurer Mindy Olson also presented Treasurer's reports for August, September and October 2025. Trustees asked about CD interest figures shown on the back of the report; Olson explained the listed numbers are percentages and said the accounts were opened in 2021 through banks with which the Village has ongoing relationships. "I will do some research" into the investment authorizations and whether funds can be moved to higher-yield accounts, Olson said.
Olson said she has provided information to an insurance adjustor regarding the earlier public comment about a sewer backup. No fiscal amendments or new appropriations were adopted as part of the vote.
