Hounsfield authorizes two fire protection contracts totaling up to $111,870

The Town Board authorized two fire protection contracts and empowered the Supervisor to sign them. Councilman John LaDuc moved and Councilwoman Dawn Nier seconded authorization for a contract with the Town of Brownville Joint Fire Department not to exceed $16,000.00; the motion carried on an all-aye vote.
Immediately after, LaDuc moved and Nier seconded authorization for a contract with the Village of Sackets Harbor Fire Department not to exceed $95,870.00; that motion also carried on an all-aye vote. Together the two contracts total up to $111,870.00 in authorized fire protection expenditures recorded in the minutes.
