Commission approves $500 credit option for boys' program scoreboard issue

The Parks, Recreation and Tourism Commission on June 22 recommended extending a $500 credit to the Hallie boys' program to cover either a replacement scoreboard remote or an upgrade to the MX1 Wireless System. Cathy moved the recommendation; Mr. Scholtz seconded and the minutes record the motion as carried with no objections.
Committee members discussed responsibility for replacing lost equipment and agreed to review the field-equipment checkout process at the July meeting. Kent will provide a copy of the checkout checklists for that review. The girls' program is also considering replacing the center-field scoreboard and noted compatibility between units if the girls' program proceeds with a replacement.
