The Parks, Recreation and Tourism Commission on June 22 voted to support the WWRORP Urban Area Plan as presented at the commission's prior meeting. The motion to endorse the plan was moved by Alisa and seconded by Mr. Scholtz; the minutes record the motion as carried.
Commissioners also noted a discrepancy in the plan's appendix: page 69 does not list Lake Hallie among regional lakes. Kennedey with Visit Eau Claire was asked to investigate the omission and report back to the commission. The item will be revisited when Kennedey provides findings, and the commission recorded its support of the plan pending that clarification.
