The Town Board approved highway procurement quotes at the Jan. 14 meeting: a pickup from Basil Chevrolet, Inc. for $50,360.00; a dump trailer from A-Plus Auto Care for $10,500.00; and a 2027 Western Star cab and chassis for $166,746.00. The combined cost for those line items is $227,606.00.
Councilwoman Courtney Brown moved to accept the quotes and Councilman Chris Lee seconded; the minutes record the motion carried with all ayes. "A motion was made by Councilwoman Brown and seconded by Councilman Lee to accept the quote for $50,360.00 from Basil Chevrolet, Inc. for a new pickup truck, a quote for $10,500.00 for a dump trailer from A-Plus Auto Care, a quote for $166,746.00 for a 2027 Western Star cab and Chassis. All ayes, motion carried," the minutes state.
Highway Superintendent Mark Warneck had presented the highway report ahead of the procurement action; the purchases were recorded as accepted by the board with no additional conditions noted in the minutes.
