The commission also approved Resolution 121-26, a $40,000 line-item transfer within Parks & Recreation moving funds from unused part-time salaries and FICA to contractual services to fund a parks maintenance compound restroom on Southwest 4th Street; staff described it as a reallocation within the existing budget, not an increase in net spending.
"The amount is $40,000 It's just a transfer from 1 line item into another. No financial impact, anyway," a staff presenter said during the resolution explanation. The meeting record shows the tabling of the townhouse ordinance and adoption of the COLA and the parks transfer.
