Outgoing Dickinson councilmembers reflect on service, infrastructure and finances

Outgoing Council Member Johnnie Simpson reflected on his service to the City of Dickinson, noting his involvement "in various boards and committees, infrastructure improvements, and collaboration efforts that contributed to increased street improvements." Simpson said he appreciated the opportunity to serve and encouraged continued progress for the community.
Council Member Bill Schick also addressed the council, thanking citizens for their support and listing accomplishments during his tenure that he linked to improvements in the city’s financial position, staffing levels and organizational culture. Schick expressed appreciation for City staff, fellow council members and his family for their support during his service.
Mayor Travis Magliolo later thanked both outgoing council members for their dedication and contributions to the City of Dickinson.
