The Dickinson City Council approved the appointment of Alexis Joe Galvan and Forrest Garner to the board of directors of Bayou Friends Forever during its April 14 meeting.
Council noted both individuals have been actively involved with Bayou Friends Forever and have provided support to the organization. Kevin D Edmonds moved to approve the appointments and Johnnie Simpson seconded; the motion passed unanimously, 6–0.
Pursuant to the organizations bylaws, staff noted that City Council approval is required for board appointments.
