Council Places Two New Subdivisions on One-Year Warranty

The West Point City Council voted unanimously on March 3, 2026, to place subdivision improvements for Preserve at Willow Bluff Phases 1 and 2 (developed by Ovation Homes) and Bennett Century Farms Phase 3 (Craythorne Development) on a one-year warranty. Assistant City Manager Boyd Davis told the Council that all required improvements have been installed and are in good order and recommended the one-year warranty period.
Council Member Michele Swenson moved to place the Willow Bluff phases on warranty and Council Member Jerry Chatterton seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Council Member Annette Judd moved to place Bennett Century Farms Phase 3 on warranty and Council Member Jeremy Strong seconded; that motion also passed unanimously.
