Resident urges West Point and Syracuse to act after crashes at 700 S and 4000 W

Adams noted the current traffic controls — stop signs for north‑south traffic and flashing lights — do not provide east‑west stop control and said a crosswalk used by schoolchildren lacks corresponding north‑south crossing controls. He requested study and collaboration between West Point and Syracuse to identify potential traffic control or engineering improvements. Council members thanked him and Captain Valencia (Davis County Sheriff’s Office) offered to pass along areas of concern for targeted enforcement.
