Board adopts revised public-comment guidelines and accepts 2025 audit with corrective action plan

By a 5-0 vote the Tioga Central Board adopted revised Public Comment Guidelines and accepted the 2025 audit and an audit-response/corrective-action plan to be implemented in fiscal year 2025–26.
The board approved the Old/New Business consent agenda, which included a second read and adoption of revised Public Comment Guidelines, acceptance of the 2025 Audit Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and approval of an Audit Response/Corrective Action Plan to be implemented for fiscal year 2025–26. The motion by Lee Wood, seconded by Scot Taylor, carried 5-0.
The board did not debate the items at length during the meeting minutes; the action places the audit report on the record and starts the district’s implementation of the corrective-action timeline described in the audit response. The revised public-comment policy will govern speaking at future board meetings.
