Council approves Mayor Pro Tempore appointment and council board assignments

Mayor Brian Vincent presented the appointment of Council Member Trent Yarbrough to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore and reviewed recommended Council assignments to local district boards and committees, including continuing representation on the North Davis Sewer District and Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District Boards and assignments to the North Davis Fire District. Mayor Vincent said Council Member Judd agreed to continue as liaison to the Youth Council and Council Member Strong would serve on the Party at the Point Committee.
Council Member Annette Judd moved to approve Resolution No. 01-20-2026A appointing Trent Yarbrough as Mayor Pro Tempore; Council Member Jeremy Strong seconded and the Council unanimously approved. Council Member Chatterton moved to approve Resolution No. 01-20-2026B adopting the listed board assignments; Council Member Strong seconded and the Council unanimously approved the appointments.
