ACE program hits 70 students; board hears about family engagement and enrichment

Trustees heard examples of academic gains: junior-high students showed improvements in math and reading between the first and second six-week grading periods and enrichment offerings include gardening, a cooking club called Cub Cafe, drone and STEM activities, and monthly birthday recognitions. Staff said ACE tutors and Mr. Gonzales provide afternoon pull-out support for English learners who also receive ACE services.
