The West Point Planning Commission on March 12 voted unanimously to recommend that the City Council approve a site plan amendment for the Salt Grass Townhomes.
Staff told commissioners the amended site plan meets current code, widens shared driveways from the original design, increases open space, and accommodates a central roadway alignment tied to a planned realignment of 4500 West by UDOT and the City. The recommendation forwards the site plan to the City Council; staff noted the change in access permitted the developer to align the project with the previously approved 132 units under the development agreement.
Commissioner Kyle Norton moved to forward the site plan amendment to the City Council and Commissioner Rochelle Farnsworth seconded; the motion carried with all commissioners voting aye.
