Board members reviewed proposed amendments to Chapter 200 of the district's Board Policies during the July 25 meeting. Board Member Elaine Aldrete asked about notes from Board Member Laura Dailey; District Administrator & Fire Chief Douglas Chappell said the edits include updating the Administrative Office address and changes to purchasing amounts in Policy 205.1.
Chief Chappell told the board that audit work begins in August and the audit report will be presented to the board in November or December of each year. Board members did not take final action on the policy changes at this meeting; Chief Chappell said an action item to adopt the revised policies will appear on a future agenda.
