Superintendent Jennifer Dunn provided an update to the board reporting that the foundation has been poured for the new Gilbert Street entrance and that the capital project continues to progress; access to the building is being limited to ensure safety during work. Dunn also welcomed new board member Elisha Cohen and said the district is working to make its vision, mission and goals more visible and accessible.
Board members reminded the public about a Strategic Planning session scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the school library and encouraged community members to RSVP to mrussell@towschool.org. No public was recorded as present at the reorganizational meeting.
