As part of its reorganizational consent agenda, the Town of Webb UFSD Board of Education on July 8 approved multiple administrative appointments and designations. The board named Jessica Pashley as District Treasurer and Mary Kate Russell as District Clerk; Loretta Gaffney was named Deputy Treasurer and District Tax Collector. The board also designated Community Bank, NA and Adirondack Bank as official depositories and The Adirondack Express as the district's designated newspaper.
The board approved Stackel and Navarra, CPA as independent auditor and Ferrara Fiorenza PC as special attorney for education matters (at $240/hour). The board also approved bonds with Utica National Insurance Co. for treasurer and tax-collector positions (District Treasurer bond $1,400,000; Deputy Treasurer $1,000,000; District Tax Collector $1,000,000; Central Treasurer $1,000,000) and employee dishonesty coverage of $100,000. Administrative authority was assigned to Superintendent Jennifer Dunn for conference approvals, building use, pre-payments up to $75,000 and budget transfers up to $5,000, among other duties; Jessica Pashley was authorized to loan from the General Fund to other district funds as necessary to cover payrolls until revenues are received.
