Town of Webb UFSD elects Diane Heroux president, Margaret Morelli vice president for 2025–26

District Clerk Mary Kate Russell called the Town of Webb Union Free School District Board of Education meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. on July 8, 2025. "The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by District Clerk, Mary Kate Russell," the minutes state.
On a motion by Jen Lis, seconded by Margaret Morelli, the board voted to appoint Diane Heroux as Board of Education president for the 2025–2026 school year. The motion carried unanimously, recorded as Yes 4, No 0. Immediately afterward, on a motion by Diane Heroux and seconded by Elisha Cohen, the board appointed Margaret Morelli as vice president; that vote was also 4–0.
The appointments were part of the reorganization business at the start of the meeting. The board administered the Oath of Allegiance to newly elected member Elisha Cohen during opening proceedings. No further discussion or public comment was recorded on the leadership appointments before the votes.
