The Town of Webb Union Free School District Board of Education approved a proposed 2025–26 school district budget of $11,731,131 and confirmed the schedule for public information sessions and the district vote.
Superintendent Jennifer Dunn presented the final proposed draft budget, estimated tax rates and the property tax report card and told the board there will be informational presentations at the Woodgate Library on Monday, May 5 at 6 p.m. and at the Big Moose Fire Station on Wednesday, May 7 at 6 p.m. She said a public hearing on the HVAC capital project will be held Tuesday, May 13 at 6 p.m., followed by the public budget hearing at 7 p.m. The Annual Budget Vote/Election is set for Tuesday, May 20 from 2–8 p.m.; the Board of Voter Registration will meet Wednesday, May 7 from 4–8 p.m.
The board also approved the district's property tax report card for 2025–26. The tax-processing services agreement with Community Bank NA, Old Forge, was approved at a rate of $1.75 per bill for the 2025–26 school year.
The motion to approve the budget proposition passed on a 4–0 vote. The board will present the proposition to district voters at the May 20 ballot as scheduled.
