Drexel Heights board approves July financial report after question about two D&H checks

During discussion Board Member Laura Dailey asked why two checks were issued to a vendor listed as "D&H." Fire Chief Douglas Chappell said the payments reflected two separate projects — one for work on the station and one for work on the BC's office — and that the contract language and pricing were unchanged from previous invoices.
The vote completes the district's routine monthly financial oversight for July. No public comment was received on the item.
