Council proclaims Aug. 11 West Seattle Little League Softball Day after state title run

Pitcher Mackenzie Hart told the Council about the season’s arc: "We came back this year ready to work hard, play together ... We made history as West Seattle's 1st little league softball state champions." Her remarks included in-season statistics the team recorded during district and state play.
Council members and community members in the Chamber cheered the young athletes and posed for a group photograph following the presentation.
