Director Sam Walters reported several recent building and safety upgrades. The Friends of the Library purchased four industrial-strength air filters to use during forest fire season, and Cooney's Locksmith completed installation of a new handicap door opener on the Main Street entrance.
Walters also said a cabinet containing an AED defibrillator, a Stop the Bleed kit and two doses of Narcan has been installed at the library. Library staff will receive CPR and AED training when an instructor is available. Trustees additionally heard that county maintenance staff addressed boiler and plumbing issues and that the large lawn clock was repaired by Mike Kovacich and Trustee Kurt Wyant.
