The Town of Webb Union Free School District Board of Education approved a slate of personnel actions and contracts at its June 12, 2025 regular meeting.
On a motion by Marissa Van Valkenburg, seconded by Margaret Morelli, the board adopted a consent agenda that included minutes from May and June meetings, warrants and claims (Fund TA #22 totaling $360,780.06; Fund A #31 totaling $2,661.42; Fund A #33 totaling $469,327.36), April treasurer’s reports, CSE recommendations, athletic appointments and substitute approvals. The motion passed by voice vote, Yes 4, No 0.
The board separately approved memoranda of understanding for Jessica Pashley, Loretta Gaffney and Mary Kate Russell for the 2025–2026 school year; each motion passed 4–0. The board also authorized the superintendent to enter into an agreement with D’Imperio Law effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. The motion to authorize the legal services agreement passed unanimously.
The board accepted several resignations: Jonathan Savage (custodian/bus driver), effective June 20, 2025; Chloe Down (special education teacher), effective June 30, 2025; Genevieve Ruhland (music teacher), effective Aug. 31, 2025; and Sophia Virkler (teacher aide), effective June 30, 2025. All resignations were approved with appreciation for service and recorded votes of Yes 4, No 0.
Other personnel actions included approval of five CSEA sick bank days for Lori Molloy, approval of regents proctors for August 2025, and summer appointments including Hannah Schoen as a summer program teacher. The board also approved course credit of three credits for Jennifer Savage for FNES 728 (New Trends in Textiles and Apparels).
“The board voted to approve the consent agenda,” the minutes state. Superintendent Jennifer Dunn reported personnel approvals and other items to the board during the meeting.
The board adjourned at 9:12 p.m. after returning from an executive session called to discuss student health and safety, contract negotiations and employment history of particular individuals.
