Council approves agenda and adjourns rescheduled budget workshop; public hearing set for Aug. 10

During its July 29, 2026 rescheduled budget workshop, the Lafayette City Council carried two recorded procedural motions: approval of the workshop agenda and the motion to adjourn. The minutes record that Councilor Dave Reed moved to approve the agenda and Councilor Logan VanDeest seconded; the clerk recorded "all ayes; motion carried."
The minutes note the adjournment motion as "Motion by Reed, second by VanDeest, at 8:58 pm." Attendance for the meeting was recorded as Mayor Curt Tauber; Councilors Dave Reed, Logan VanDeest and Andrew Hartley; Utility Superintendent Allan Fox; Clerk/Treasurer Cori Reinhart; and Utility Assistant Brennan Moldan.
