Commissioner (speaker 6) made the motion upon return from executive session: "I make a motion to nominate Arturo Jardo Junior for the Hidalgo County Appraisal District Board of Directors." The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
Earlier in the meeting staff had explained the appraisal district had requested nomination via resolution and noted a submittal deadline. The commission had earlier pulled the item for executive session to confirm candidate names prior to final action.
