Commission notes staff leave, upcoming zoning hearings and community events

Mr. Gorman also noted two near-term external hearings: the Zoning Hearing Board will announce a decision on July 23 regarding a validity challenge to zoning provisions affecting residential density and the Town Center master plan requirement; and the conditional use application and zoning amendment for the Willow Hill Development Group (Weston tract) will appear on the Board of Supervisors' agenda on July 22. Community items announced included the West Chester 250th Anniversary Parade on August 2 and Charles Towne Market Day at Brightside Farm (Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
