On March 11 the Town Board accepted grant funding through the Orange County Youth Bureau under the Youth Development Program totaling Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) to support the Town's Youth Sports and Education Summer Camp Program. The board authorized the Town Supervisor and designated officials to execute any agreements necessary to accept and administer the grant; eligible expenses are for the period January 15, 2026 through September 30, 2026.
The resolution was moved by Supervisor David McMillen and seconded by Deputy Supervisor Deirdre Murphy and passed 3 Ayes, 0 Nays, 2 Absences. Officials said the funds will support camp operations and that program administration will follow grant requirements.
