Coffee City municipal court reports $8,192.87 collected in January; state remittance noted

City Secretary Mary McDonald reported that Coffee City's municipal court collected $8,192.87 in January; of that total, $1,532.07 is to be remitted to the state and $4,751.55 will be allocated to the General Fund.
The council had also approved the January 2025 financials and the Jan. 13 meeting minutes earlier in the meeting by motion of Kevin Haughey and second from Carrie Ousley. The financial report and minutes were recorded as approved in the Feb. 10 meeting minutes.
The minutes do not break down the remaining balance after the state remittance and General Fund allocation; staff follow-up would be needed for a full accounting.
