City staff presented a request for a Special Use Permit to allow a private school on roughly 10.62 acres at 3502 Hatch Road. Development Services Assistant Director Andreina Davila-Quintero reviewed plans that would relocate the school, remodel the existing church building, create a driveway connection to Hill Country Bible Church and add an open plaza. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 7-0 to recommend approval.
Council opened the public hearing; no members of the public spoke and the mayor closed the hearing. General discussion addressed proposed portable/temporary buildings and site layout. The item was taken in first reading as part of the public hearing process and will return for final action consistent with council procedures.
